Think Twice before Using your Credit Card. When you use a debit card, the money is deducted from your checking account. When you use a credit card, you’re borrowing the money.
Limit your Credit Card Usage. In order to keep your credit card usage under control, choose one category to charge (e.g. groceries).
Issue a credit card with a low interest and do your best not to spend over the limit. It’d be wise to keep your credit card balance below 70% of your limit.
In case you’re getting into trouble with credit card debt, contact your lender and ask for help as early as possible.
